Please excuse the dust. We are currently under construction
Welcome to our website. We are a small breeder located in the Phoenix metropolitan area. We occasionally breed, when we are looking to carry on our pedigree and work on the next generation. We show our dogs in conformation, obedience, rally, and agility. We sell pet/companion puppies on AKC Limited Registrations, and Spay/neuter contracts. We sell show prospects to established breeders and newcomers to the breed who are willing to be mentored and learn about the breed, showing, health clearances, and how to be a responsible, reputable breeder. We do not breed just to breed and sell puppies, and prospective buyers must submit an application and references. We are members of the Southwest Bullmastiff Association and the American Bullmastiff Association. Our goal is to continue to breed dogs who exhibit and meet the standard of the breed as set forth by the AKC Standard for bullmastiffs. We breed bullmastiffs with impeccable temperments, who make wonderful family pets and therapy dogs. We do not breed for the biggest, or the heaviest, or any other quality outside of the bullmastiff standard. All dogs who are used in the breeding program have passed health clearances for hips, elbows, hearts, kidney, and eye diseases. We will gladly provide you with copies of these clearances. Our dogs pedigrees are several generations deep of champions, dual champions, and health clearances. We are proud to carry on the tradition of the breeders before us who strive to breed a healthy, sound, correct bullmastiff, whether for show, therapy, search & rescue, or as a family companion.

Our First bullmastiff
Little did we know when we purchased "Louie", that our lives would never be the same! Louie, "Ch. Bastion's Louisville Slugger", is a once in a lifetime dog. At nine months, he won "Best In Sweepstakes" and "Best Puppy" at the Southwest Specialty in Ft. Worth, TX. The next day he was Winner's Dog out of the six to nine month class taking a five point major win. He finished his championship at eleven months of age, and was clearly a very special dog. At the 1999 Nationals, he won his classes in both Sweepstakes and Futurity at 15 months old. He was shown on a limited basis and was consistently winning the breed over older, top ranked specials. At just two years of age, he won the breed at the Brush Prairie shows in Washington over three top ten specials and went on to his first group placement. Louie was paired with professional handler, Erin Roberts, and his official campaign started in 2000. With just four months of showing, he finished the year at number six. In 2001, he traveled the country winning a Best in Show, an Award of Merit at Westminster, the breed at the AKC Eukanuba Classic, several regional specialties and numerous group placements. He finished the year at number three, but he and Erin had made a mark as a pair with chemistry.
Louie winning Best of Breed at Westminster in 2002. In 2002, he came out with a bang, winning the breed at Westminister, the several regional specialties and two more Best in Show's. Louie earned enough points in the All Breed Standings to put him in the Top Ten Working Dogs of 2002. The first bullmastiff to be in the top ten since 1991-1992. He ended the year number one in all systems, Breed and All Breed points.
Louie goes to Canada
After a year at home, at age 5 Louie returned to the show ring in Canada, under the expert handling of Pam McClintock. Earlier in his career, Louie had earned his Canadian Championship in less than 24 hours, Pam's record. In 2004, he won two Best in Shows, two regional specialties and was the #1 Bullmastiff and #5 Working Dog in Canada.
Cassie was our next bullmastiff. We waited three years for a brindle girl, and she was well worth the wait. Cassie started her career winning Best in Sweepstakes at her first show. She went on to win two more Sweepstakes before 18 mnths. Cassie competed against top male specials and despite being female and brindle, won several Best of Breeds. She won Best Opposite to Louie's Best of Breed at the SEBA Specialty. She was the number two bitch in 2002. Cassie has three offspring currently showing and pointed towards championships from her litters with Louie.

Riggs was a puppy from Louie's second litter. Riggs quickly became "my" dog. He was easily trained as he wants nothing less in life but to please me. Riggs finished his championship, his Companion Dog obedience title, his Rally Novice obedience title, his Canine Good Citizen certificate, and his Novice Agility Preferred title. Although almost seven now, he may still have a couple more titles in him, time will tell.
Louie's retired
Louie, now nine, is retired and living with my son, for whom he was originally bought as a puppy. His current housemate is a minature pinscher named Diva. Louie is our best puppy babysitter and when time permits, since he is also a Certified Therapy Dog, we visit hospitals. With limited breeding, Louie has produced several American and Canadian champions, a Multiple Best in Show winner, a Specialty Best in Show winner, and several performance titled puppies. The 2007 AKC Eukanuba Best of Breed winner, Ch. Trugrit's Bark at the Moon is his grandson, out of Trugrit's Alessa, bred by Al Batchelor at TruGrit Bullmastiffs. He passes on his impeccable temperment, his headpiece, bone and pigment. He is available to quality, sound, healthy, champion bitches.
